The past week has been soggy and wet but today we got a huge break!
The eyasses have been showing quite a bit of wing activity flapping and rising inches above the nest, but it seems like no one is willing to take the first leap.
Even the parents were enticing them to fledge…
It was quite windy today and the eyasses got a small lift when flapping, but again, a few close attempts… close … but nothing.
Will they fledge over the weekend? Most likely so as they have all the remiges needed for flight and it seems like the parents aren’t feeding them as much, thus forcing them to leave the nest.
