Let Me Fly to Distant Lands

May 28, 2013

I checked out the nest today and only 1 eyas was left.  It was either Eden or Sally. I can’t tell the two apart since they look so much alike (Hillary has different breast feathers), but I’ll pick Eden as the one left in the nest.

It was difficult finding the fledglings as their cries bounced all over the buildings.  Thanks to the Blue jays who found them.

Eden thought about taking off, but Mama dropped in with food so it’s breakfast first!

Mama proceeded to feed Eden, then hopped out to the next tree to feed Hillary.

I’m pretty sure she flew over to Sally to feed her as well, but i had to get to work :).

Eden should fledge today or tomorrow.

Ciao!
