A Raptor’s Life

Aug 16

From the day we fledged, we’ve been looking at Mama and Papa as they hunted and brought us food.  It was easy back then as we got food drops.  But as Papa said, that ended over a month ago and since, we have had to fend for ourselves.

No amount of wailing these days would turn up any food delivery. Nope. No, Sir!  We’re on our own.  Sigh.  Is this a Raptor’s life?

In case you’re wondering, the Red-tail didn’t catch this dove. 😦

Update – both Eden are Sally are still in Downtown Raleigh.  More to come on a separate post…

Ciao
