Totally Oblivious

The dog days of summer are upon us.  I saw a bird flying up and landing on a building.  At first I thought it was a crow but since it had brown feathers and a Red-tail :), I relaized it was a hawk.

A Mockingbird followed Mama and started bugging her.  Mama had her eyes set on something and moved to a different part of the building.

Mama took off with her eyes seemingly locked on to something below.

She tried to land on the window, but there was nothing to land on…

and Mama was forced to land on the building across the street.

But Mama would not be denied.  After looking around for about a minute, she took a steep dive…

…and caught breakfast.  It think it was a pigeon.

This took less than 5 seconds. Meanwhile, the humanoids on the street and in the car were totally oblivious of the hunt occurring right above them.
